He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Red Cross and the Sarasota County Fire Department, an amateur ham operator and a volunteer for the Forestry Department in Bradenton. He was a Protestant.Survivors include his wife, Betty W.; a daughter, Kerri (Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL), 1630 words.)

Wyatt was the President of the Sarasota Emergency Radio Club. Wyatt was a very effective leader and will be missed by every member of his club. He was an inspiration to us all.
